Enter the Night Court

Our next installment of Sword & Sweets Women's Classes is open for registration! Enter the Night Court to join us for an ACOTAR themed party and historical sword fighting class.

This class is open to women and girls 15 and older. Anyone under 18 will need their legal guardian present to sign the liability waiver in person on their behalf.

The evening will consist of trivia, raffle prizes, complimentary desserts & non-alcoholic beverages, and an extended sword class that has been especially structured to be on theme. In order to safely participate in the last portion of the class we ask that everyone wear stable, close-toed shoes. Dressing to theme is still welcome, we just want safety to be adhered to!

What is the schedule for this event?

6:00pm - doors open

6:15pm - trivia

6:45pm - raffle prizes

7:00pm - sword class starts

8:00pm - closing ceremony to cut the ribbon

9:00 - end

What is the minimum age requirement?

Participants must be 15 or older. Any minors under 18 must have a legal guardian present at the class to sign a waiver on the behalf in person.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable and suitable for physical activity, which also includes shoes! However, you are also welcome to dress up on theme. In order to safely participate in the class, we ask that everyone wear stable, close-toed shoes. Dressing to theme is still welcome, we just want safety to be adhered to! Feel free to bring a change of shoes if you really want to!

It says 'beginner friendly', but is it really?

Yes, absolutely! This is designed to be a fun, low stress event to make friends, try something new, and celebrate spaces for femme folk!

Are the instructors also women?

Yes, the entire event will be staffed exclusively by women.
